The first Veterans Appreciation Day on Oahu brought together (from left) Maj. Gen. William H. Brandenburg of the Army, Society of Military Widows President Ayako “ike” Detwiler and Lt.Andy Baldwin of the Navy. Baldwin is known for his role as a single male on the ABC show, “The Bachelor,” filmed on Oahu.The event was held to raise funds for the Oahu Veterans Center.
