Saint Louis Receives $590,000
Saint Louis School recently dedicated and blessed its new athletic field. Saint Louis has a history as a football powerhouse in the state of Hawaii, as well as being nationally recognized over the years. As part of the dedication, the Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation presented the school with a $590,000 check that will allow Saint Louis to continue to provide an excellent football and athletic program combined with its mission of educating students in the Catholic Marianist tradition. Suemori & Inouye Inc. Donate $25K
Suemori & Inouye Inc., the state’s largest certified pension consultant, recently celebrated its 25th anniversary by presenting a $25,000 check to Hawaii Meals on Wheels, the nonprofit organization whose mission is to deliver hot, nutritious meals to homebound older adults and those who are disabled. RCOH Spruces Up Kahi Mohala
The Rotary Club of Honolulu selected Kahi Mohala Behavioral Health recently as the site for its annual ‘Rotary Give Thanks’ community service project. More than 40 members and friends painted buildings dedicated to serving adolescent patients, as well as the Nautilus area, which makes up part of the outdoor ROPES challenge course on Kahi Mohala’s 14-acre grounds. The community service event is part of RCOH’s involvement with the Weinberg Friends program. Through the program, RCOH completes a community service project and then receives $10,000 from the Weinberg Foundation to be spent on a service organization chosen by RCOH.
