KPT Receives A Facelift

Daniel Inouye, Peter Ho and Ryan Caruso served as Bank of Hawaii Community Service speakers as part of National Community Service Day 2009, recently held at Kuhio Park Terrace. Sen. Inouye attended the morning program to share a few words with 200 KPT residents and 100 Bank of Hawaii volunteers, who spent the day painting and cleaning 15 apartment units at KPT.
Hawaii Foodbank Snowed In Dough
Slava, the star of Slava’s Snowshow, recently presented $4,050 to Dick Grimm, Hawaii Foodbank president (left) with Tim Bostock, director of Tim Bostock Productions (right). A portion of ticket sales from the show’s first night benefitted Hawaii Foodbank. A canned food collection also was held at the Hawaii Theatre box office through the duration of the show.
