Beautiful Son Foundation Gets $10K
Hoakalei Charities and Hoakalei Country Club, home to Hawaii’s first Ernie Els-designed golf course, recently presented $40,000 raised during the second annual Els Hoakalei Cup charity tournament to four local organizations, including the Beautiful Son Foundation, started by a group of mothers who share a vision to help families access treatments for children with autism in Hawaii. St. Anthony Church Staff Honored
Members of Catholic Charities Hawaii’s Mary Jane Program recently honored the staff of St. Anthony Church in Kailua for providing 10 years of support. The St. Anthony staff received an Italian food luncheon and beautiful gift basket of cookies, chocolates, coffee, nuts and fruits. For 10 years, Father Dennis Koshko and his staff have provided the Mary Jane Program with needed office space as well as a room to store maternity items, diapers and baby clothing.
