Mother’s Day Delights at Helemano.
Skip the buffet lines and head to the country for Mother’s Day and you’ll find lots to entertain the entire family. Helemano Plantation’s Country Inn offers one of the best value buffets in the Islands, with many of the dishes made with fruits and vegetables grown on the small North Shore plantation.
Sunday, May 11, the annual Mother’s Day buffet offers an array of Hawaiian foods including kalua pork, chicken long rice, lau lau, lomi salmon, sweet potatoes, haupia, potato and macaroni salads, as well as steamed rice, fried rice and chow mein noodles. The price for this celebratory buffet is just $8.50; $5 for children age 3-11.
Ice cream and a beverage (iced tea, fruit punch or Helemano’s special blend Kona coffee or tea) are included with this amazing all-year-round price.
And if you’ve left it a little late to buy Mom a gift, then check out Helemano’s bakery and gift shop. On a seasonal basis and on special occasions, its famous pineapple and coconut pies are for sale, as well as Helemano’s coffee and freshly baked cookies.
