Del.icio.usThe Tennis Hut sponsored a junior Team Training Championship tournament as a way to celebrate spring break (i.e., more time for tennis!) at Kailua District Park. Tennis pro and tourney director Pam Nakaso pronounced March 26 “an outstanding day of fabulous tennis. Everyone had a great time.” Tom and Catherine Gambino were especially proud when son Nick edged out Casey Baron for the title. All players got K-Swiss T-shirts, and even more KSwiss shirts, shoes, sweatshirts were raffled off. “It’s such a kick to sponsor these types of community events and support Kailua tennis,” added Tennis Hut owner Bryan Naff. “In all, it was sun, fun and great tennis, but it was the smiling faces that took the day.”
