Cruz, Mailani Headline Lanikai Legacy Concert

Del.icio.usLanikai Elementary School has found the perfect way to honor the past stewards of the school since its founding in 1964, all while raising money for its art and music programs.
Saturday’s Legacy Concert Under the Stars offers a lineup of award-winning Hawaiian music along with local food, a silent auction, craft booths and a student art gallery. Among the vendors are Bob’s Pizzeria, Aloha Salads and Jamba Juice.
The concert runs from 5 to 10 p.m. under the iconic banyan tree at 140 Alala Road, and tickets cost $25 for adults and $15 for keiki ($20 and $10 in advance). Grammy Award-winner John Cruz headlines the entertainment that also includes Mailani, Weldon Kekauoha, Breath of Fire, and musical trios KBB and Milinanea.
