Artistic? Design An I Love Kailua T-shirt

Del.icio.usKailua artists with a heart for the town are invited to design the 2012 “I Love Kailua” town party T-shirt and submit entries by Oct. 31.
A $100 prize is at stake for the most colorful, lively entry. The winning design becomes the property of Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle. This will be the 20th year for the town party, which is scheduled for April 22, 2012. Shirts usually sell out at the event and are a major fundraiser for the Outdoor Circle, which sponsors the block party.
Designs must be original, represent Kailua, use a maximum of six colors and contain the words “I Love Kailua.” No photos are allowed, and size should be between 5-by-7 inches and 9-by-13 inches. Artwork will be judged by “creativity and originality that clearly depicts the special place that is Kailua.”
