Windward Mall will host its fourth annual Festival of Giving Saturday and Sunday with more than 40 merchants participating via various discounts and prizes, and top entertainment

The Kamehameha Schools Hawaiian Ensemble plays at noon Saturday, followed by Kaukahi at 5 p.m.; Holunape plays at noon Sunday.

Those who have bought a $5 pass from participating schools and nonprofits receive exclusive store discounts, gifts with purchase and door prizes. For example, T&C Surf will feature 20 percent off on its brand merchandise, and Cinnamon Girl and Ko`olau Pets will knock 15 percent off their branded clothing and regular-priced items. Pass holders also have a chance to win one of 20 sweepstakes prizes - or the grand prize of a $1,000 shopping spree at Gold Mart in Windward Mall.

Waimanalo Health Center, Hale Kipa, Ahuimanu Elementary, Windward Special Olympics, Hawaii Family Law Clinic,Abilities Unlimited, Pali Lions Club and more groups also get to keep 100 percent of all ticket sales. Festival of Giving passes may still be purchased from any of the groups.

For a complete list, visit http://www.windwardmall.com. Select nonprofits also will have tickets during Festival of Giving weekend. For details, call 235-1143.

Last year $10,000 was raised to support nonprofit work in the community.
