* HANAUMA TALKS Hanauma Bay Education Program hosts a free lecture, “The Science of Shipwrecks” by UH doctoral candidate Derek Smith,at 6:30 p.m.May 6 at the visitor center. Talks by student researchers are set for each Thursday in May. Call 397-5840.
*BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank has donor drives from 7 to 11:30 a.m. May 6 at Saint Louis School, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 12 at Kalani High School gym, 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 16 at Kahala Mall, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 21 at Kaimuki Municipal Parking Lot and 3 to 7 p.m. May 26 at Hawaii Kai Towne Center.
