* RADIO TALK State Rep. Lyla Berg (D-Hahaione, Aina Haina) discusses the Kids Vote project at 5 p.m. Oct. 7 on Hawaii Public Radio’s KIPO FM, along with other guests on voting issues.

* STORYTELLING Baba Jamal Koram shares cultural tales at 10 a.m. Oct. 10 at Aina Haina Library; 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at Kaimuki Library, and 10:30 a.m. Oct. 15 at Hawaii Kai Library.
