Bonheur
Wednesday - July 26, 2006
Tucked away in the somewhat hidden zone of Ala Moana Center is a new women’s boutique waiting to be discovered by those in search of refreshing, high-end international trends with a European flair. “All of our clothes are one-of-a-kind designer clothing from around the world,” says Salina Storozuk, store manager. “We cater to women who have a taste for cutting-edge fashions and lead an active lifestyle.”
Featured designers include Alice McCall from Australia, Maria Bonita Extra from Brazil and Jee Vice from France. The store also carries its own label of apparel, vintage Pucci sunglasses, and a selection of original swimwear, delicate lingerie and trendy footwear.
Bonheur, which means happiness or good luck in French, is located on the mall level, next to the Patisserie and Quizno’s (above Barnes & Noble). The store interior is designed to reflect a Parisian subway with white tiled walls and exposed industrial ceilings, complemented by natural, wooden straightforward fixtures.
“The look is very clean yet feminine,” adds Storozuk. “We wanted to present the Honolulu fashion community with a fresh selection of designer apparel and a store interior with European flair. Our designer fashions are carefully selected, versatile and exclusive to Bonheur in Hawaii.”
