WELCOME to Kimo’s Vegas ... the Players Edge!
UFC fans, Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell and Randy “The Natural” Couture are back at the Mandalay Bay Feb. 4. They are 1-1 against each other, so the winner will be the Light-Heavyweight champ of all time (until the rematch).
ONE OF the things my son Chase and I have in common is our love of a great burger. But unless one of us gets super lucky in the casino, it’s gonna be a while before we grind a couple of FleurBurger 5000s. Chef Hubert Keller of Fleur de Lys at Mandalay Bay has created the most expensive burger I’ve ever heard of: first there’s the brioche truffle bun, then the Kobe beef burger topped with fois gras and black truffles garnished with a special truffle sauce. No Diet Coke with this gastronomical delicacy - you get a bottle of Chateau Petrus 1990 served in Icendorf Brunello stemware that is shipped to your home at no additional charge.
So what’s with the 5,000 at the end of the name? Why, it’s the price of the burger, of course: $5,000!
MIKE Weatherford, the entertainment reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, talks about his book, Cult Vegas, and seeing shows for a living, then Nick Kallos from the Casino Gaming School of Nevada tells us some amazing Vegas stories Thursday at 9 a.m. on Sports Radio 1420AM.

The ex-madam to the Hollywood stars is opening a “Stud Farm” exclusively for the ladies.

EXACTLY how tall is the Christmas tree at Caesar’s Palace? Sixty feet! (Give or take a few inches.) If you lose track counting the lights (I did) should be 216,510 ... eh, guys, imagine checking the lights for that tree!
VEGAS quote: Frank Marino, female impersonator, La Cage at the Riviera: “If God wanted me to be a woman, he would have given me the $20,000 for the operation.”
