WELCOME to Kimo’s Vegas ... The Player’s Edge!
Joe Perry
JOE PERRY, Aerosmith guitarist, suffered a concussion during the band’s MGM Garden Arena concert. The show was being filmed for ESPN’s 2007 NASCAR telecasts. Three songs into the show, a camera boom fell and hit his face and head. He played the full 90-minute show with a black eye and bump on the head, saying, “It’s going to take more than a camera boom to take me out.”

CELINE DION is planning a mega tour when her Vegas run is pau New Year’s Eve 2007. She wants to do the largest tour in world history: 100 cities in two years. Hopefully Hawaii will be included!
WHAT DO billionaires eat? A Carl’s Jr. combo meal - burger, fries and a $5,994 bottle of Petrus ‘82 Pomerol wine. The four Maloof Brothers own banks, breweries, the Sacramento Kings and the Palms Hotel, and we’ve got proof they didn’t drink from the bottle at www.KimosVegas.com.
UFC 66 happens at the MGM Grand Garden on the eve of New Year’s Eve (Dec. 30). UFC world light heavyweight champion Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell faces his former training partner and friend Tito Ortiz. Tickets range from $100 to $1,000, and there’s a special auction for Octagon-side floor seats at Ticketmaster. Ortiz has been seen around town with adult movie star Jenna Jameson ...
AT UFC 65 this weekend in Sacramento, look for Shane Kawamoto’s fighters Jeff Monson (fighting for the UFC heavyweight championship), Frank Mir, Joe Stevenson and James Irvin. The Saint Louis grad and Vegas resident also reps UFC ring girl Rachelle Leah (you’ve seen her in Stuff, Maxim and Playboy). And I thought the fighters got all the girls.

WHERE DOES an ex-Double O go? Pierce Brosnan, with martini in hand (shaken not stirred, we presume), was at the new Moon nightclub in the Palms.
Shane Kawamoto and
Rachelle Leah
ALSO SPOTTED in Vegas ... Karen Hamaguchi, Jodi TanabeHanzawa, Kyle Hiranaga, Arthur Phanphendy and Paul Lam representing Hawaii in the National Western Mixed Doubles Championships.
BETWEEN Jan. 1, 2002 and 2005 the number of Realtors in Las Vegas doubled to 17,500. Since July of this year, 2,700 agents did not renew their real estate license. What happened? The sagging housing market has forced many back to their old jobs and the steady paycheck that comes with it.
