WELCOME to Kimo’s Vegas ... The Player’s Edge!
Toni Braxton
IF YOU’VE seen Toni Braxton’s show at the Flamingo, you may have wondered about the microphone she uses. Sporting more diamonds than a rapper on Friday night, the million-dollar mike is made of white gold and is encrusted with 650 carats of diamonds. She says “It’s so extravagant, like taking a bath in Dom Perignon. I love it!”
“UFC 64: UNSTOPPABLE” is set for Oct. 14 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. UFC World Middleweight champion Rich “Ace” Franklin (23-1-0) defends his title for a third time. His opponent, Anderson “The Spider” Silva, is (16-4). Tickets and packages are available at www.mandalaybay.com.
Mike Tyson
MIKE TYSON has set up camp at the Aladdin Hotel. The former heavyweight champion’s “Tyson’s Training Camp” is not quite the same as his $35 million paydays of the past, but we’ve all got bills. The champ says that he’s spoken with Jamie Foxx, who’s rumored to play the lead in big screen tribute titled The Dynamite Kid.
ACCORDING TO the Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates, throughout the U.S. the top five destinations this fall are:

DID YOU KNOW that the Clark County (Las Vegas) School District is the fifth largest school district in the U.S.? When this school year started, it was short 400 teachers and accepted a rather odd donation ... $2,500 from a strip club called Score. The club held a back-to-school fund-raiser called “Detention” that featured dancers clad as schoolteachers, schoolgirls and librarians. The club matched patrons’donations that night dollar for dollar.
WHAT KIND of watch does Steve Wynn (he owns the Vegas hotel) wear? A platinum Rolex! If sporting a watch that’s equivalent to the price of a new Mercedes is not for you, perhaps you’ll be more comfortable wearing a Timex, like Sumner Redstone (he’s the controlling shareholder for Viacom, CBS and a few other media companies). The other irony of these two rich and powerful men? Steve owns a hotel and chooses to live in a private residence ... Sumner could own any home, but chooses to live in a hotel.
