A NEW table game called Hawaii HI – LO was invented by World Series of Poker Champion Hal Rubin and buddy Rob Varkonyi. Each player gets four cards and the object is to get a LO hand (0- 15 points) or a HI hand (30-44 points). Reminds me of the E.K. Fernandez game where you roll the balls into the slots and add up the points. Beware, the dealer has four cards that affect your hand, so you don’t know how much or if you win until the last card is revealed … and don’t forget to make the Hula bet 17 ways to win up to 10,000 to 1! For now the game is only available in Atlantic City — maybe we can get them to try it at the Cal?
