RAPPERS GETTING a bad rap ... Sheriff Bill Young from the Las Vegas Metro Police sent a letter to state gambling regulators asking that they discourage casinos from booking rap acts. Adding fuel to the fire, the Nevada State Gaming Control Board states it is leery of “gangster rap” following the deaths of four local rappers last June, and the recent murder of a police officer by an aspiring Las Vegas rapper. This prompted Harrah’s Entertainment to request that the Molson Coors Brewing Company cancel a private show at the Rio featuring Snoop Dog.
