With approximately 40,000 new HIV infections occurring in the U.S. every year, there is no doubt that AIDS continues to be a major epidemic in need of support from caring philanthropic individuals.
Understanding the need for funding that AIDS charities face, author and AIDS battle devotee Miss Lisa Ann devoted her time over the last four years to creating Celebrity Cookbook - a cookbook with a cause. Lisa Ann makes her debut as an author with Celebrity Cookbook. A Southern California native, Lisa Ann began working in the entertainment field at the age of 16 as a personal assistant to a favorite actress. This led to working with many other celebrities and in the public relations industry. Lisa loves to cook for friends and entertain, and resides in Hawaii Kai.
Celebrity Cookbook is an entertaining and resourceful compilation of more than 100 recipes and photographs from celebrities, sports stars, famous personalities, artists and renowned chefs. The book provides a tasteful dish for all palates - from simple, health-conscious to gourmet recipes. CHEF MARK ELLMAN’S MANGO PINEAPPLE
SALSA - CHUNKY STYLE
* 1/4 cup diced fresh pineapple
* 1/4 cup diced fresh mango
* 1/4 cup diced fresh tomato
* 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
* 1/4 cup diced sweet onion
* juice of 1 lime
* fresh chili pepper, minced, to taste
* 1/4 cup diced fresh jicama
* 1 tablespoon minced fresh mint
* 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
* salt and pepper, to taste
Mix together in bowl and serve.
