Waikele Outlets Pink Event
Waikele Premium Outlets teams up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support breast cancer awareness, outreach, research and treatment programs in its community. During the month of October, shoppers can text PINK to 90999* to donate $10 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and then enjoy a rewarding day of shopping at the on-site Premium Outlets Pink Event Oct. 30 and 31.
Shoppers who make a donation can show the receipt on their phone at the event registration table from noon to 6 p.m. to receive a special savings card filled with discounts from Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Coach, LeSportsac, Michael Kors and more. On-site donations via cash or check also will be accepted during event hours, with all proceeds benefitting the Hawaii Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. A representative from the Komen Affiliate also will be available to answer questions regarding breast health and the organization’s efforts.

October Events At Nordstrom
Nordstrom at Ala Moana Center presents Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, a breast cancer awareness promotion now through Nov. 30.
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans will donate $1 for every woman who tries on a pair of NYDJ denim at Nordstrom stores nationwide in October and November. NYDJ will make a minimum guaranteed donation of $75,000 and a maximum donation of $100,000 to Komen for the Cure.
Also happening at Nordstrom this month:
* Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a representative from ECCO will be in the women’s shoes department to showcase the newest styles for the season and assist with selection.
* From now through Oct. 31, Estee Lauder offers a free seven-piece gift with any Estee Lauder purchase of $29.50 or more. Add two dual-ended essentials for lips and lashes with any Estee Lauder purchase of $55 or more. Also, receive a free 10-day supply of your perfect foundation shade when you get matched at your favorite Estee Lauder counter, while supplies last.
