Wacoal Hosts FI(GH)T For The Cure Event
Receive a complimentary bra fitting while helping to find a cure for breast cancer at Wacoal’s FI(GH)T for the Cure event Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Macy’s Ala Moana. Participate in any Fit for the Cure event and sign up to receive a monthly e-mail reminder to do a self breast exam. For every woman who participates, Wacoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research and community health programs. Wacoal also will donate an additional $2 for every Wacoal bra, shapewear piece or b.tempt’d bra purchased at these events.
For 10 years, Wacoal has provided education and fitting for nearly 500,000 women across 718 U.S. cities about the importance of bra fit, foundation and breast health. To date, through FI(GH)T for the Cure, Wacoal has donated more than $2.5 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
According to Wacoal, research shows that eight out of 10 women are wearing the wrong-sized bra. Women should be professionally fitted for a bra once a year to ensure their bra size has not changed as a result of fluctuations in their body.

Mall Expands Military Program
In a salute to the military community, Windward Mall is expanding its popular Military Monday program to take place every Monday of each month starting Oct. 4.
Previously, it was offered only on the first Mondays of each month. Additionally, more than 50 merchants, including several new mall merchants, will join the program to offer an even greater selection of deals.
The program provides a 15 percent discount on qualified purchases at participating merchants and eateries throughout the mall for active duty, retired military and qualified military family members including Department of Defense employees (with a valid U.S. military ID). Check store windows for Military Monday designated signs. Some restrictions apply.
