Valli At Macy’s
Macy’s launched the Giambattista Valli (pictured at right) for Impulse Only at Macy’s limited-edition collection Oct. 26. Priced on average from $50 to $150, the line features cocktail dresses, flirty skirts, feminine blouses, lightweight jackets, edgy pants and graphic T-shirts.
Key textures such as lace, tweed, brocade, faux fur and point d’esprit tulle capture the designer’s celebrated stylistic sensibilities.
As part of Macy’s Designer Capsule Initiative, in which the retailer collaborates with a designer to create an exclusive collection for Macy’s fashion Impulse department, Valli’s collection is the fourth capsule in the series. Known for extravagant designs and great party dresses, this collection is Valli’s first foray into affordable fashion.

Title Ix Bracelet
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Title IX, a federal law authored by Hawaii Congresswoman Patsy Mink, Maui Divers Jewelry has partnered with the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF) to create a limited edition commemorative bracelet. The handcrafted 7mm sterling silver cuff bracelet featuring three recessed Roman numeral IXs is available for $115, with Maui Divers Jewelry donating $40 from each sale to WSF to support its grant and outreach programs. “The Title IX bracelet isn’t just another piece of jewelry, it is a true conversation piece,” says Laila Ali (pictured above), WSF president and daughter of Muhammad Ali. “When people ask me about the bracelet, it opens a new conversation about the importance of sports in our lives and our daughters’ lives. Title IX has done a great deal for me and my peers, and it continues to provide our society with empowered girls who will take the life lessons and health benefits of sports with them throughout their lives.”
The bracelet is available in Honolulu at the Maui Divers Jewelry Design Center (1520 Liona St.) and at Maui Divers Jewelry at Ala Moana Center. For more information, visit MauiDivers.com/wsf.
