The Butik Turns One

The Butik celebrates its first anniversary with a special event Saturday, Dec. 8, featuring a Fighting Eel Spring/Summer 2008 collection fashion show, champagne and light pupus by D&L Catering, drinks by SWAM, music by Monica (DJ Chia from Sisters in Sound), cookies by Hokulani Bake Shop and VIP gift bags.
Also, the store’s entire stock will be 20 percent off, and there will be prize giveaways by Joy Salon, SugarGems, Rona Marie, La Pistil, Tamara Katz, Fighting Eel, Allison Izu, gift cards from The Butik and more.
The fashion show will be hosted by model and Destination: Groove Dance Hawaii co-host Yasmin Dar. The event is free, open to the public and takes place from 5 to 8 p.m.
The Butik is located at 1067 Kapiolani Blvd. Suite A-3 (The Public Storage across from McKinley High School). Free parking is available in the open lot behind the building. For more information, call 593-4484.
