Think you’ve got star quality? Head on down to Ala Moana Center’s Centerstage this Sunday (January 14) to take part in ‘The Amazing Race’ casting call. Local residents can take the opportunity to audition for a spot on CBS’s hit reality television show from noon to 3 p.m. The Amazing Race is scheduled to begin its 11th season where contestants will travel across the globe in hope of snagging a $1 million cash prize.
Iris Lim Wins Teen Vogue Sweepstakes
Iris Lim, a sophomore at the University of Hawaii, was the winner of the Teen Vogue sweepstakes which won her the chance to bring her closest and dearest friends to shop at Dooney & Bourke in Ala Moana Center for an hour all to themselves. Store manager Henry Wu (pictured at left with Iris) showed off the latest collections while Iris and her friends enjoyed refreshments, discount offers and gift bags from both Teen Vogue and Dooney & Bourke.
