Meet Lydia Mondavi At Neiman Marcus
Lydia Mondavi, creator of 29 Cosmetics, will be at Neiman Marcus Ala Moana Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. offering makeovers and previewing the new Cabernet Crush face mask and candle. This new line of cabernet treatments is featured in the October issue of InStyle magazine. Mondavi also will be pouring samples of her famous family’s new portfolio of wines called Folio. 29 Cosmetics is the first grape seed age-protecting color cosmetics line. Hui Makaala Fashion Show Oct. 18
Hui Makaala, an Okinawan scholarship organization, presents its 40th annual scholarship luncheon and fashion show Oct. 18 at the Sheraton Waikiki featuring the latest creations by Okinawan designer Kanna Yamauchi under the designer name Yokang.
Tickets to the event cost $65. The benefit also includes boutique sales and a silent auction starting at 9 a.m. in the ballroom foyer. Ballroom doors open at 11:30 a.m., and lunch is scheduled for noon followed by the fashion show at 1 p.m.
