Stop by Sephora Ala Moana Sept. 24 and 25 from noon to 5 p.m., or Sephora Pearlridge Sept. 26 from noon to 5 p.m. for a High Tech Beauty Event featuring the Clarisonic family of cleansing brushes, Bliss Pore-fector and the Clarisonic Opal (for treating fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area). Fashionista’s Market Hosts Closet Swap
Clean out your closets for Fashionista’s Market’s fourth annual Closet Swap Oct. 9 at Luana Hills Country Club. It starts with a champagne breakfast at 9:30 a.m. followed by the swapping at 11 a.m.
This year’s swap also features exciting recyclable games, raffles, designer finds and more. Fashionista’s Market also will set up racks of “ultra cute” clothes and accessories with a portion of the sales to be donated to charity.
To participate in the Closet Swap, clean out your closet of fashionable gently used or new clothes, bags, shoes and accessories that don’t fit or you haven’t worn in the past six months. Drop them off at the Fashionista’s Market boutique (1185 Bethel St.) through Oct. 6. Your items will be tallied up and you’ll receive a ticket with the amount of pieces you’ve qualified for toward your swapping credit.
Then, on Oct. 9, Closet Swap participants can take home the amount of items marked on their tickets. All remaining clothing and accessories will be donated to the Leeward Domestic Abuse Shelter.
Attendees also are asked to bring their own reusable totes in which to take home their swapped clothes, and to bring donations such as children’s clothes, books, toys and toiletries. Closet Swap tickets are $30 and available through Sept. 29 at Fashionista’s Market or by phone at 537-1115.
