Harry Winston Opens At Ala Moana Center
Harry Winston, America’s premier jeweler, opens its first Hawaii location at Ala Moana Center this week. The history of the House of Harry Winston includes some of the most famous diamonds in the world, from the legendary Hope Diamond to magnificent jewels owned by royalty, movie stars and heads of state. The House of Harry Winston is the embodiment of three generations of Winston jewelers dating back 100 years. The Ala Moana store — a Thierry Despont-designed 2,500 square foot salon — is decorated for Christmas in a wintry Narnia theme and showcases rare diamond jewelry. Hawaii is only the 10th Harry Winston destination after New York, Paris, Geneva, Tokyo, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Miami, Taipei and Osaka. The Winston reputation was built from the start on unprecedented levels of high quality stones, exquisite design, and unparalleled craftsmanship. Pictured at right is wreath necklace No. 100480 with 105 round brilliants, pearshapes and marquise diamonds totaling 84.15 carats. The price: $800,00.
