Fighting Eel has opened its second store at Kailua Town Center offering its entire collection as well as its Mini Eel line along with children’s books and accessories. The store also carries women’s accessories and fashions by various local designers such as Jana Lum, and jewelry designers B. D’Angelo, NattoLee and A. Wattz. The new store is located on the Kailua Road side of the Whole Foods Market, which is expected to open in a few months.
The Paris Gold Facial By Orlane
Neiman Marcus at Ala Moana Center hosts a Paris Gold Facial by Orlane Jan. 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. by appointment only. Mini experiences also will be available at the counter. The facial features Creme Royale, Orlane’s premium anti-aging line infused with 24k gold.
Also, happening Jan. 19 to 22, Yves Saint Laurent will present its 2012 Spring Shoes Trunk Show in the Shoe Salon.

Pearlridge Train Ride, Sidewalk Sale
Pearlridge Express returns to the roundhouse after its final trips Jan. 8. Keiki under 48 inches can take a ride on the custom-built locomotive and enjoy the journey for $3 per ticket. Running daily, Pearlridge Express is located in Uptown Center Court and runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
And if Santa didn’t quite bring what you wanted, check out the great winter values throughout Pearlridge Center during its centerwide sidewalk sale Jan. 13 to 15.
There also will be a Chinese New Year celebration with Chinese lion dances Saturday, Jan. 14, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Uptown, and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Downtown.
