Dr. Kumar is right on the money. Along with most people I know, I take pretty lousy care of myself. I wolf down my meals, primarily eat junk food, don’t sleep enough, give short shrift to my family, friends and hobbies, and keep the stress level at a constantly high level. Breaking this cycle takes a massive overhaul of one’s life, and Dr. Kumar’s book (which I have) reminds us of the simple things that really matter and help us to thrive. I’m hopeful that I can squeeze in one new pearl of wisdom a day while trying to break the bad habits. Fingers crossed!
